
Brook decided to join forces with The Handel Group after meeting the team and actually experiencing for the first time in her career, that corporate strategy and life improvement can be paralleled in the same breath. Lauren and Beth’s story inspired Brook enough to take her years of experience in traditional and new media, mixed with her vast life experience, and sign on to take this deserving company to the next level.
Brook’s background includes 15+ years in the brand building and personal identity space having been a part of the launch of Martha Stewart Living, the daily show on CBS in 1997 as AVP, Director and Producer. She worked with the magazine and television for 5 years to create content and synergy across all assets. Brook’s accolades include 10 Emmy nominations, having won 4 for Directing and Producing in daytime television. She then went off launch a start up network, Plum TV, in the Hamptons a network based only in leisure communities including Aspen, Vail, Nantucket, Martha’s Vinyard and Sun Valley. As General Manager, Brook was responsible for overseeing the budget, content development, production and execution of all local programming.
For the past seven years, Brook has been the CEO of her own production company in NYC, Gotham Entertainment/Highline Interactive. Brook now takes a multi-platform 720 approach driving revenues through traditional media and digital initiatives utilizing the most technology forward approach.
Brook’s goal for HG is bringing the physical to the digital and back.
