Will’s passion is human development and his experience reflects that. His role at the Handel Group® includes coaching executives and corporate teams, individuals and couples, co-leading the Design Your Life Weekend, and developing programming for parents, children, teenagers and young adults. Will has enjoyed coaching clients from all over the planet and is fascinated by the ways people are united by our common human capacities to think big and have a sense of humor.
Will honed his skills while working in schools as an elementary teacher, head of an elementary program, teacher trainer, and parent mentor. He is the acting Educational Director of Partners With Parents (PWP), a NYC tutoring and educational consulting company. Through PWP, the Handel Group® offers coaching for teens, “tweens,” and their families. Will is currently president of an Education non-profit he helped to found, Friends of PS 153.
Will earned his BA in Psychology and Education from Swarthmore College, his MA in Teaching from Trinity College of Washington, D.C., an Elementary credential from the American Montessori Society, and permanent New York State Teaching Certification.
Will lives in Upper Manhattan with his wife and their two elementary-aged daughters. He enjoys playing pick-up basketball and soccer, as well as gardening in and around their townhouse, which he enjoys perpetually refurbishing.
