Shir has more than 17 years of experience working with executives, teams and organizations on increasing overall productivity while focusing on personal dynamics and organizational streamlining. Through his dedication, he earned a reputation as a major contributor to his companies’ successes. Shir understands what it takes to increase performance against all odds and guides his clients in doing so for themselves.
Throughout his career, Shir has designed and created innovative solutions and approaches that combine a business focus with personal development, leadership creativity and interpersonal relationships. His work includes designing and leading programs (which include both seminar and one-on-one coaching) that inform and inspire people in order to lead them to produce unimaginable results in their careers. Drawing from his personal experiences as a Triathlete and an Ironman, Shir is a devoted partner who concentrates on the results and can motivate others to go the extra mile.
Before joining The Handel Group, Shir was a Managing Partner in a management-consulting firm that specialized in designing and implementing knowledge-sharing and knowledge-transfer solutions. He has consulted for companies such as IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer, Goldman Sachs, PSE, Con Edison, The US Federal Government and Morgan Stanley in their knowledge-transfer commitments. He has also worked with the United Nations to transform one of its agencies into a knowledge-centric organization.
Fluent in Hebrew and English, Shir lives in Palm Beach, Florida with his wife, Marnie, their son, Harrison and daughter, Sophie. He regularly competes in Ironman Triathlons, marathons and other running races. His past experience as an Israeli Army Special Forces Paratrooper and growing up on a kibbutz in Israel were key influences in his life. Shir also enjoys scuba diving and coaching other athletes and is on the leadership team of a triathlon club in Juno Beach, Florida.
